In 2015 the Great Game Fairs of Ireland team clearly established themselves as the leaders in delivering quality Irish country sports and lifestyle
events at Shanes Castle, Co Antrim and Birr Castle, Co Offaly. In 2014 they had also launched a new more 'boutique' event at the beautiful Montalto estate
in Ballynahinch and this will return in September 2016.
The Great Game Fairs of Ireland events are characterised by their use of superb traditional venues in Ireland's most historic estates; the range of
international class competitions organised with international class prize funds; fantastic fine food festivals; great main arena attractions; their well
established and respected Irish Game Fair and Irish Game and Country Fair brand names and trademarks plus the support of Irish Countrysports and Country
Life magazine (both hard copy glossy and FREE to READ online www.countrysportsandcountrylife.com).
In 2015 huge family audiences were thrilled by the sheer width of entertainment including several 'shows within a show' including the large and growing
FINE FOOD FESTIVALS and the LIVING HISTORY VILLAGES. Competition organisers reported record entries and exhibitors posted
excellent trading performances.
In 2016 it is the organisers' intention to further enhance virtually all facets of the events and once again they are likely to set new standards for
family countryside and country sports entertainment.
The Irish Game and Country Fair, planned for the 27th & 28th August 2016, is partnered the highly successful Irish Game Fair at Shanes Castle, Antrim
planned for the 25th & 26th June 2016 www.irishgamefair.com and the Ballynahinch Harvest Festival
planned for 24th & 25th September under the brand of the Great Game Fairs of Ireland.
